Hello, London!

Good Morning & Happy Monday!!

Today is not just an ordinary Monday. On this Monday I woke up & was in LONDON! This is one of my favorite cities probably in the whole world. Not only does my fiancé's family live here, but I love the history of the city & because I have been here a few times, I get to go and explore new places off the beaten path that normally, if this were my first time, I wouldn't have the luxury of doing because I would want to see all of the touristy places.

From London's oldest wine bar, which might I add, is underground & candlelit, to finding gardens with the most beautiful flowers, this city is magical. I don't know what it is, but I fall more and more in love with it every time I come here.

A lot of questions I have been asked over the years is "what do you wear over there"? I can't tell you how many people have messaged me over the last few days on top of friends asking me because style is different every where you go.

Luckily, I have been here enough to *try* and figure out what to wear so that I don't look too much like a tourist. So I have rounded up some of my favorites I always pack with me. Because of the majority of people using the tube (underground transportation), you are walking ALOT. This means that you want to have some comfy shoes on. I have even seen girls wearing sneakers then changing shoes while getting off the tube or when they get to their office. Whether they be converse or adidas, you always about the comfort while travelling.

Because of this, I decided to round up what I am packing to take over there! Please remember that this is my personal style and what I have gathered/like to wear while in London, and I by no means consider myself an expert :) This is my personal take on what to pack when going across the pond!

Let's start off with the following outfit that is my #ootd:

We spent our first few days on a southern island exploring and having an engagement party thrown by my future in-laws. While we walked around the town during the day, I wanted to be comfy, cute and not too hot, so this was the perfect outfit! The gingham peplum top was on $17!

Below is the clickable look book for you of my favorite items that I have packed for the trip! Remember, comfort is EVERYTHING because you are walking the majority of the time.. It's a completely different experience than the states, but it's one of the best experiences so be sure to follow along on my instagram story to see where all we will be exploring!

Enjoy!
